Durham Officials Seeking Information on Recent Eureka Center, Methodist Church Vandalism

Durham officials are seeking information regarding recent incidents at the Methodist Church and the Durham Eureka Community Center.

The Eureka Center sustained damage on July 8 when an unknown vehicle used the parking lot to drive in circles (or do "donuts"), which caused multiple rocks and stones to fly up and hit the building, breaking five windows and destroying the vinyl siding.

The Methodist Church has been broken into several times over June and July and now items belonging to the church—including two flags, a hymnal plaque, and a cross—are now missing.

Anyone with information on either of these crimes should contact the Maine State Police at 1-800-452-4664.
