Voter Registration Information
- Durham residents may register to vote on Election Day at the polls (with a photo ID or birth certificate and a piece of mail reflecting a physical Durham street address*)
- Durham residents may register to vote during normal business hours at the Town Office.
*A residency oath may be taken for registration requirements only if the proper ID is present and there is a lack of residency documentation.
Absentee Voting Information
- Absentee ballots may be requested without reason now until the close of business Thursday, March 28th.
- To submit your request:
- Download a printable absentee ballot request form and deliver it to the Town Office at 630 Hallowell Road.
- Call the Town Office at 207-353-2561 to request a form to be sent by mail.
- Fill out a form and submit it at the Town Office during normal business hours.
- Absentee ballot requests will be available beginning Tuesday, March 5th.
- Voters claiming special circumstances may request an absentee ballot after Thursday, March 28th.
