Animal Control Officer Applications available at Town Office
Animal Control OfficerThe Town of Durham is seeking qualified applicants for the part-time position of Animal Control Officer. This position is responsible for the enforcement of various animal control laws and procedures. Work involves varied contact with the public, handling both domestic and wild animals and maintaining records and incident reports. Applicants must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Experience in handling animals is required. State certification in accordance with Maine Statue Title 7, section 3906-B, subsection 4. preferred or must complete training and be certified by the State of Maine within six months of appointment.
